Coach 1901 “Palisades” Double Slide Motorhome
California Modern, the Featherlite Way
Palisades is a double slide Prevost motorhome that brings together one-of-one design, intuitive technology, and the understated luxury Featherlite is known for. Inspired by the rugged beauty of Lake Tahoe, this coach was designed to feel calm, tailored, and quietly confident from the moment you step inside.
Rather than chasing excess, Palisades leans into balance. The result is a coach that feels warm, modern, and highly livable, with every finish working together to create a refined, cohesive experience.

The Design Vision
A Modern Mountain Influence
The design direction for Palisades draws on a California ski-chalet aesthetic, blending natural tones, crisp geometry, and rich textures. Light maple flooring, brushed bronze fixtures, White River Forest cabinetry, Caesarstone Raw Concrete surfaces, and carefully selected textiles give the interior a grounded, architectural feel.
Personal, Yet Purposeful
This is what Featherlite does best: personal design executed with discipline. Every material choice in Palisades supports the same overall feeling—elevated, comfortable, and free of unnecessary fuss. As a result, the coach feels custom without ever feeling busy.

Exterior Design
A One-of-One Paint Story
Outside, Palisades makes a strong impression with a custom exterior palette of Porsche Sapphire Blue, Mercedes Obsidian Black, and Silver Metallic. In addition, the paint design was executed as an original composition by Censport, giving the coach a true one-of-one presence.
Clean Lines, Purposeful Details
Featherlite’s exclusive front and rear fairings help create a cleaner roofline while concealing rooftop equipment. Meanwhile, paint-matched bay handles, low-profile LED lighting, and dual 30-foot power awnings keep the exterior tailored, seamless, and unmistakably premium.
Pilot and Co-Pilot Zone
Command Without Clutter
The cockpit of Palisades was designed to feel intuitive and composed. A custom leather-wrapped dash, dual high-definition touchscreen displays, and Featherlite’s Gen II Intuitive Coach Control System bring key coach functions into a clean, integrated environment. Because of that, the space feels sophisticated without becoming complicated.
Driver Comfort, Featherlite Style
Pilot and co-pilot seating, coordinated trim materials, and a unified color story carry the design language forward. As a result, the front of the coach feels every bit as finished as the living spaces behind it.

Salon
Open, Calm, and Residential
In the salon, Palisades shifts into a softer expression of luxury. Natural light, warm flooring, tailored cabinetry, and carefully chosen seating create a space that feels open, relaxed, and easy to enjoy. At the same time, the palette stays disciplined, which gives the room a more timeless feel.
Designed for Everyday Enjoyment
A power lift 55-inch UHD TV adds flexibility without adding visual clutter. Consequently, the salon works just as well for entertaining as it does for quiet evenings on the road.

Galley and Dinette
Beauty with Real Function
The galley in Palisades blends modern design with real usability. Caesarstone Raw Concrete surfaces, Behati Bronze mosaic tile, White River Forest cabinetry, and premium Viking and Fisher & Paykel appliances create a space that feels both elevated and highly practical.
A Natural Extension of the Living Space
The dinette continues the same material story, tying the galley and salon together in a way that feels cohesive and relaxed. Therefore, the main living area reads as one complete environment rather than a series of disconnected zones.

Powder Room
Small Space, Strong Finish
The powder room is a great example of Featherlite’s attention to detail. Fireclay mosaic tile, Caesarstone surfaces, White River Forest cabinetry, and brushed bronze fixtures give this smaller space the same sense of intention found throughout the rest of the coach.

Stateroom
A Private Retreat
The stateroom was designed to feel restful, uncluttered, and quietly luxurious. Mirage maple floors, tailored cabinetry, integrated television storage, and layered textures create a space that feels calm and residential. In turn, the coach delivers the kind of comfort owners want at the end of a long day.

Primary Bath
Spa-Inspired, Yet Practical
In the primary bath, Palisades carries its design story through with Fireclay tile, Caesarstone surfaces, brushed bronze Kohler fixtures, a backlit mirror, and a mosaic-lined shower. Heated floors and marine-grade construction reinforce that this space was designed for both beauty and long-term performance.

Underbays and Technology
Beauty Beneath the Surface
Underneath Palisades, the engineering reflects the same Featherlite discipline found inside. Marine-grade woven vinyl, illuminated storage areas, organized wiring panels, and a PowerTech 20kW generator in a hush box all support quiet confidence in ownership.
Intuitive Control for Modern Travel
Palisades also features Featherlite’s Gen II Intuitive Coach Control Package, QLED Smart 4K UHD TVs, and Starlink high-performance in-motion satellite internet. As a result, the coach delivers modern connectivity and control in a way that feels integrated rather than intrusive.
The Featherlite Difference
Palisades is a strong expression of the Featherlite approach: custom design, yacht-quality execution, and innovation that serves the ownership experience. It is refined without feeling formal, modern without feeling cold, and highly personal without losing the quiet confidence that defines the brand.

The Design Process
Coach 1901 - The Exterior Paint
Innovation in Exterior Design
The Palisades doesn’t just look fast — it’s designed like it’s moving even when parked.
Its Porsche Sapphire Blue, Obsidian Black, and Silver Metallic livery was crafted by Censport, the same motorsport design studio trusted by F1 and IndyCar legends. This isn’t an RV paint job - it’s a precision-laid, multi-layer performance finish built to race-spec standards.
Every contour is sculpted for aerodynamic purpose. Featherlite’s custom roofline fairings eliminate drag and conceal rooftop equipment for a cleaner, more aggressive stance. The front fascia flows seamlessly into integrated LED lighting, while paint-matched door handles and bay latches keep the lines pure and uninterrupted.

Innovation in Interior Design: The Art of Intelligent Design
Inside Palisades, innovation doesn’t shout - it whispers through design that feels effortless.
Every function, form, and finish was created to serve both purpose and pleasure, blending advanced engineering with the sophistication of bespoke interiors.
Featherlite’s Gen II Intuitive Coach Control System gives the entire space a quiet intelligence - lights, climate, entertainment, and power all respond instantly through elegantly integrated touchscreens. There’s no clutter, no complexity - just seamless control designed to disappear into the environment.
Above, Brisa Jasper ceiling panels conceal HVAC systems behind sculpted, back-lit forms, maintaining a clean visual line while reducing ambient noise. The result is a cabin that feels calm, balanced, and perfectly tuned - a harmony of architecture and innovation.
Each interior zone - salon, galley, stateroom - carries its own lighting profile, transitioning naturally as day turns to night. Fixtures in Vibrant Brushed Bronze and ambient LED ribbons create layers of soft illumination that feel more like a luxury penthouse than a motorcoach.

Key Design Elements: A Gallery of Signature Details
Tile: Fireclay | Handcrafted in California - Born in California’s coastal clay and fired by human hands, Fireclay Tile embodies artistry with integrity. Each piece is individually hand-pressed, glazed, and numbered - no two alike.
In Palisades, Fireclay’s Indigo, Red Jasper, and Flake White mosaics transform the powder room into a gallery of color and craft. In the primary bath, the Behati Bronze star-cross mosaic reflects light like hammered metal — dynamic, tactile, and timeless.
Sconce Lighting: Custom Lightology Manor and Brander sconces define each space with sculptural light. In the salon, they wash the walls in warmth; in the stateroom, their matte black frames and diffused glow sculpt a sense of calm. The result is an atmosphere that’s not just illuminated - it’s choreographed.
Countertops: Caesarstone Raw Concrete quartz - Understated, tactile, and architectural. The Raw Concrete quartz surface delivers strength with a matte serenity — a perfect foil to the warm woods and bronze accents surrounding it. It anchors the galley, powder room, and bath in continuity, tying modern design to timeless composition.
Faucets: Kohler Vibrant Brushed Bronze - every fixture gleams with purpose. The Kohler Purist collection in Vibrant Brushed Bronze adds a warm metallic note - elegant without ostentation. Paired with matte black trim and flawless installation precision, it feels both contemporary and enduring.
Designer Textiles: The Jules & Peabody “Bohemian Rhapsody” palette is a masterclass in tone and touch. Romo Gunmetal wallcoverings bring subtle sheen; Romo Lenny Spacedust fabric adds soft luminescence at the headboard; Garrett leathers in Storm Cloud and Appalachian brown layer warmth and depth. Each textile was chosen for visual rhythm and tactile luxury - an interior you don’t just see, but feel.
The Decor Palette: Modern Calm, Tahoe Soul

Every element of Palisades was chosen to feel as collected as it is crafted - a design language of texture, tone, and quiet confidence.
Created by Jules & Peabody, the Bohemian Rhapsody decor concept captures the dual spirit of this coach: bold in material, serene in emotion. Inspired by alpine modern architecture and California’s effortless sophistication, the palette layers artisan craftsmanship with tactile warmth.
The Mood
Soft, natural light meets a palette of maple, brushed bronze, and stone gray, accented by deep blues and subtle metallics. Each piece - from the Calero hand-knotted New Zealand wool rug to the Ruched Dark Teal velvet poufs - adds rhythm and personality without ever overpowering the architecture.
The Details
- Fireclay Tile brings the soul - hand-glazed artistry, made in California, rich with texture and individuality.
- Lightology sconces sculpt the space, their glow evolving from day to night.
- Caesarstone Raw Concrete countertops ground the interior with modern minimalism.
- Kohler Vibrant Brushed Bronze fixtures add warmth and reflectivity to balance the cooler tones.
- Designer textiles - Garrett leathers, Romo Gunmetal wallcoverings, Romo Spacedust upholstery - add tactile sophistication.
Even the finishing touches - the CB2 Rosalind ceramic lamp, Lulu & Georgia Washburn table lamp, and West Elm Turkish towels - are part of a narrative that feels intentional and lived-in. Together, they create an environment that’s less “coach interior” and more modern residence on the move.
An interior that feels curated, human, and quietly bold — proof that luxury isn’t about perfection, but presence.
