Coach 1901 “Palisades” Double Slide Motorhome
Palisades: Coach 1901 by Featherlite
The Art of Motion, Perfected
Palisades is not just a motorcoach — it’s a moving expression of performance luxury.
Born from the harmony of yacht craftsmanship and racing precision, this Featherlite creation embodies power, serenity, and distinction in every mile.
Inspired by the rugged beauty and calm strength of Lake Tahoe’s mountain cliffs, Palisades captures that spirit of elevated adventure - where the world outside becomes your private horizon.
The Vision Behind Palisades: A California Modern Masterpiece

Conceived as a California ski chalet on wheels, Palisades fuses natural tones, crisp modern geometry, and rich tactile detail.
Designer Julie from Jules & Peabody, whose background spans private jets and couture interiors, infused every surface with warmth and motion - a contemporary blend of nature and technology.
Inside, light maple floors ground the space in warmth, while brushed bronze fixtures and Behati Bronze glass mosaics reflect a quiet confidence. The cabinetry, crafted in Wilsonart White River Forest, pairs perfectly with Caesarstone Raw Concrete countertops, creating visual depth and modern edge.
Every element - from the custom-upholstered Garrett leathers in “Storm Cloud” to the woven textures of Romo Gunmetal wallcoverings - was chosen to flow effortlessly together, delivering a seamless journey through space, tone, and texture.
Every stitch, seam, and curve reflects Featherlite’s design philosophy: precision without pretense.
The Exterior: Where Power Meets Poise
The Palisades exterior is a masterclass in movement.
Painted in a bespoke combination of Porsche Sapphire Blue, Mercedes Obsidian Black, and Silver Metallic, its body lines flow like liquid metal under light - sleek, sculpted, and purposeful.
Each coach’s paint design is an original - a one-of-one composition - executed by Censport, the same studio trusted by motorsport icons in Formula 1 and IndyCar.
From the integrated roofline fairings that conceal equipment to the paint-matched bay handles and low-profile LED lighting, every element serves both performance and beauty. Dual 30-foot power awnings extend seamlessly, their integrated lighting transforming the exterior into an ambient stage for evening entertaining.
Even the underglow lighting - RGB yacht-grade LEDs - was engineered not for flash, but for presence.

Entryway, Dash & Pilot/Co-Pilot Zone: The Command Center of Confidence
Step inside Palisades, and the experience shifts from admiration to authority.
The cockpit is a study in ergonomic precision, merging aviation-grade design with luxury automotive craftsmanship.
The custom dash, hand-wrapped in Moore & Giles Holland Haze leather and finished with matching stitchwork, sets the tone for sophistication. Every detail - from the AMG-inspired turbine vents to the dual high-definition touchscreen displays - is designed for intuitive control.
Featherlite’s advanced Gen II Intuitive Coach Control System puts total command at your fingertips. From climate and lighting to slide rooms and power management, every system responds instantly through redundant touchscreen interfaces - engineered for precision and reliability.
The pilot and co-pilot seats, crafted from Garrett Leather in Storm Cloud with perforated quilting, feature heating and massage functions. Even the ceiling and window framing carry the same Brisa Jasper tones and Wilsonart accents, giving the driver’s zone a unified, performance-oriented aesthetic.

The Salon Space: Effortless Living in Motion
In the salon, Palisades reveals its softer side - a tranquil living space designed for conversation, reflection, and connection.
Natural light spills across Mirage maple flooring and White River Forest cabinetry, creating a warm, understated contrast with the Garrett leather sofa in Appalachian brown. Opposite, a pair of Stressless recliners in Milky White leather invite you to unwind, separated by a sleek occasional table - the perfect perch for a glass of wine or morning espresso.
Overhead, the Ultrafabrics Brisa Jasper ceiling and Lightology Manor sconces cast a soft, diffused glow, echoing the mood of a boutique hotel suite. Every finish - from the honey bronze hardware to the Romo slate accent fabrics — reflects the precision of bespoke interior design.
And when the day fades, a power lift 55” UHD TV emerges silently from its base, transforming the room into an intimate private cinema.
The design language - neutral textures, mountain-inspired wood grains, and modern light play - evokes the sophistication of a Lake Tahoe penthouse.

The Galley, Appliances & Dinette: Culinary Craftsmanship in Motion
The galley in Palisades was crafted not merely for cooking, but for the art of living well on the road.
Each element is designed to blend beauty and performance - from the Caesarstone Raw Concrete waterfall countertop to the Tile Bar Behati Bronze glass mosaic backsplash that shimmers softly in ambient light.
High-end appliances by Viking and Fisher & Paykel deliver professional precision with quiet confidence, while the Kohler Vibrant Brushed Bronze faucet adds sculptural elegance to the Elkay Crosstown sink.
Matte White River Forest cabinetry and honey bronze hardware complete a palette that feels both tactile and timeless.
The dinette - finished in the same Raw Concrete surface - is anchored by Garrett leather seating in Appalachian brown and Romo slate back cushions, a visual continuation of the salon’s understated sophistication. It’s a setting for sunrise coffee, late-night conversations, or a perfectly plated dinner for two.

The Powder Room: Every Detail, Elevated
Small in scale, but grand in execution - the powder room of Palisades is a study in refined contrasts.
Soft light glows across Koroseal Ovation wallcovering, its subtle texture complementing the Fireclay mosaic backsplash in tones of Indigo, Red Jasper, and Flake White. Each piece is hand-laid and grouted in Sterling Silver - a detail you’d expect in a designer residence, not a motorcoach.
The Caesarstone Raw Concrete countertop and White River Forest cabinetry anchor the space in quiet luxury, while Kohler’s Vibrant Brushed Bronze faucet and fixtures bring a warm, sculptural shimmer to every surface.
Even the air feels intentional - serene, balanced, and beautifully lit by a framed mirror. It’s an elegant moment of pause, executed with the same craftsmanship and precision as the grandest suite.

Stateroom: Your Private Mountain Lodge
At the end of each day, the stateroom welcomes you with the calm assurance of a private sanctuary.
Grounded by Mirage maple floors, this space feels both cocooning and expansive - a seamless blend of modern refinement and warmth.
The headboard, upholstered in Romo Lenny Spacedust fabric, adds subtle depth with its metallic undertone, catching light from the Lightology Brander sconces in midnight black. Honey bronze hardware accents the cabinetry, echoing the soft metallic shimmer found throughout Palisades.
Beneath the windowline, carefully crafted White River Forest cabinetry provides balanced storage, while the motorized televator TV disappears silently when not in use - maintaining the tranquil, uncluttered flow of the space.
Topped with RH’s Washed Herringbone Sateen bedding in Mist, the bed invites rest in its purest form. Quiet, temperature-balanced, and acoustically tuned, this is not just a place to sleep - it’s where the road itself fades away.

Primary Bath: A Spa-Level Experience
Step into the primary bath, and the world outside disappears.
Every surface in this spa-inspired retreat reflects artistry and balance - from the Fireclay hexagon floor tiles in Flake White to the Behati Bronze star-cross mosaic walls that shimmer softly under dimmable lighting.
The Caesarstone Raw Concrete vanity rests above White River Forest cabinetry, its brushed bronze fixtures by Kohler adding a warm, luminous accent that glows against the neutral tones. A backlit mirror framed in matte black provides architectural definition while amplifying the natural light that flows through the coach.
The shower - lined in Behati Bronze glass mosaic with custom bullnose detailing - feels more boutique hotel than motorcoach. Every component, from the Kohler Purist handshower kit to the pressure-balanced valve trim, delivers precision and grace.
Heated floors, acoustic insulation, and marine-grade construction ensure the space is as serene in motion as it is at rest.

Underbays & Technical Mastery: Beauty Beneath
Underneath Durango, the engineering shines. Two full pass-through bays feature dual-direction power slide trays, lined in marine-grade woven vinyl and stainless trim. You'll find a 20KW genset in a SoundDown hush box, full water filtration with a copper manifold system, Blue Sea Systems electrical panels, and intuitive Gen II Coach Controls - all laid out with yacht-level precision. Every system is smart, serviceable, and built for reliability.

Beneath the sculpted exterior of Palisades lies a hidden world of precision engineering - the foundation of Featherlite’s performance promise.
The underbays are a study in intelligent design: clean, illuminated, and yacht-grade in every detail.
Each bay is lined in marine-grade woven vinyl and finished with epoxy-coated surfaces for durability and easy maintenance. Wiring panels are torque-marked, labeled, and crafted with Featherlite’s signature precision - orderly, accessible, and beautiful to behold.
At the heart of this system lies a PowerTech 20kW generator mounted on air suspension within a stainless hushbox - whisper-quiet, vibration-free, and engineered for longevity. Featherlite’s proprietary Rusty Wallace Cooling Package ensures optimal airflow, enhancing efficiency while maintaining a clean exterior profile.
Options include a fully integrated outdoor entertainment bay featuring Sonos audio and touchscreen control, or a chef-inspired exterior galley complete with refrigeration, bar storage, and prep space - proving that innovation doesn’t stop at the door.

Innovation in Exterior Design
The Palisades doesn’t just look fast — it’s designed like it’s moving even when parked.
Its Porsche Sapphire Blue, Obsidian Black, and Silver Metallic livery was crafted by Censport, the same motorsport design studio trusted by F1 and IndyCar legends. This isn’t an RV paint job - it’s a precision-laid, multi-layer performance finish built to race-spec standards.
Every contour is sculpted for aerodynamic purpose. Featherlite’s custom roofline fairings eliminate drag and conceal rooftop equipment for a cleaner, more aggressive stance. The front fascia flows seamlessly into integrated LED lighting, while paint-matched door handles and bay latches keep the lines pure and uninterrupted.

Innovation in Interior Design: The Art of Intelligent Design
Inside Palisades, innovation doesn’t shout - it whispers through design that feels effortless.
Every function, form, and finish was created to serve both purpose and pleasure, blending advanced engineering with the sophistication of bespoke interiors.
Featherlite’s Gen II Intuitive Coach Control System gives the entire space a quiet intelligence - lights, climate, entertainment, and power all respond instantly through elegantly integrated touchscreens. There’s no clutter, no complexity - just seamless control designed to disappear into the environment.
Above, Brisa Jasper ceiling panels conceal HVAC systems behind sculpted, back-lit forms, maintaining a clean visual line while reducing ambient noise. The result is a cabin that feels calm, balanced, and perfectly tuned - a harmony of architecture and innovation.
Each interior zone - salon, galley, stateroom - carries its own lighting profile, transitioning naturally as day turns to night. Fixtures in Vibrant Brushed Bronze and ambient LED ribbons create layers of soft illumination that feel more like a luxury penthouse than a motorcoach.

Key Design Elements: A Gallery of Signature Details
Tile: Fireclay | Handcrafted in California - Born in California’s coastal clay and fired by human hands, Fireclay Tile embodies artistry with integrity. Each piece is individually hand-pressed, glazed, and numbered - no two alike.
In Palisades, Fireclay’s Indigo, Red Jasper, and Flake White mosaics transform the powder room into a gallery of color and craft. In the primary bath, the Behati Bronze star-cross mosaic reflects light like hammered metal — dynamic, tactile, and timeless.
Sconce Lighting: Custom Lightology Manor and Brander sconces define each space with sculptural light. In the salon, they wash the walls in warmth; in the stateroom, their matte black frames and diffused glow sculpt a sense of calm. The result is an atmosphere that’s not just illuminated - it’s choreographed.
Countertops: Caesarstone Raw Concrete quartz - Understated, tactile, and architectural. The Raw Concrete quartz surface delivers strength with a matte serenity — a perfect foil to the warm woods and bronze accents surrounding it. It anchors the galley, powder room, and bath in continuity, tying modern design to timeless composition.
Faucets: Kohler Vibrant Brushed Bronze - every fixture gleams with purpose. The Kohler Purist collection in Vibrant Brushed Bronze adds a warm metallic note - elegant without ostentation. Paired with matte black trim and flawless installation precision, it feels both contemporary and enduring.
Designer Textiles: The Jules & Peabody “Bohemian Rhapsody” palette is a masterclass in tone and touch. Romo Gunmetal wallcoverings bring subtle sheen; Romo Lenny Spacedust fabric adds soft luminescence at the headboard; Garrett leathers in Storm Cloud and Appalachian brown layer warmth and depth. Each textile was chosen for visual rhythm and tactile luxury - an interior you don’t just see, but feel.
The Decor Palette: Modern Calm, Tahoe Soul

Every element of Palisades was chosen to feel as collected as it is crafted - a design language of texture, tone, and quiet confidence.
Created by Jules & Peabody, the Bohemian Rhapsody decor concept captures the dual spirit of this coach: bold in material, serene in emotion. Inspired by alpine modern architecture and California’s effortless sophistication, the palette layers artisan craftsmanship with tactile warmth.
The Mood
Soft, natural light meets a palette of maple, brushed bronze, and stone gray, accented by deep blues and subtle metallics. Each piece - from the Calero hand-knotted New Zealand wool rug to the Ruched Dark Teal velvet poufs - adds rhythm and personality without ever overpowering the architecture.
The Details
- Fireclay Tile brings the soul - hand-glazed artistry, made in California, rich with texture and individuality.
- Lightology sconces sculpt the space, their glow evolving from day to night.
- Caesarstone Raw Concrete countertops ground the interior with modern minimalism.
- Kohler Vibrant Brushed Bronze fixtures add warmth and reflectivity to balance the cooler tones.
- Designer textiles - Garrett leathers, Romo Gunmetal wallcoverings, Romo Spacedust upholstery - add tactile sophistication.
Even the finishing touches - the CB2 Rosalind ceramic lamp, Lulu & Georgia Washburn table lamp, and West Elm Turkish towels - are part of a narrative that feels intentional and lived-in. Together, they create an environment that’s less “coach interior” and more modern residence on the move.
An interior that feels curated, human, and quietly bold — proof that luxury isn’t about perfection, but presence.
